Misspelled auctions on eBay

Sun October 16, 2005 at 20:27 | Posted in Curiosity, Trick, website | 3 Comments

Everybody makes mistakes.

But if an eBay seller misspells the name of the item he wants to sell, it will be very difficult to get some offers.

But now this site can help.

Just enter the correct word (Nokia, Disney etc) and it will search eBay for items on sale that have misspelled names of what you inserted (Mokia, okia, nikia etc).

So the seller will get some offers, and you will get the item at a very cheap price!

Let me talk about a blog which collects all the differents logos that Google used yet.

Its name is GoogleLogoShow.

In fact Google quite often changes logo accordingly to special occasions. These occasions can be general (Google 7th birthday) or local (India Indipendence Day for example).

Among the many, here’s a few I like:

Leonardo da Vinci Google Logo Van Gogh Google Logo Italy Google Logo

And you? Which one do you like most?

  • is a place where you can search jobs by tag (html, c++, web…). You can subscribe feeds to get updated on new posts.
Too bad it works only for the US, France and Germany, yet.

  • Etsy

Etsy is place where you can buy handmade things.
The thing I like is best though, is that it is a wonderful example of Ajax. Just check the two search boxes on the left (“shop by color” and “time machine”)
